Cookie cutter talent build:

Flexible talnets are: The 5 points in efficency may be moved into improved hunter's mark, although 1
hunter in the raid with improved hunter's mark is enough, as it will override non-improved. Also,
non-improved will refresh improved hunter's mark with improved hunter's mark.
Also the point in endurance training may be moved anywhere in the first 2 BM tiers.
Steadyshot macros:
3:2 macro:
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()
/castsequence reset=3 Steady Shot, Auto Shot
/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear(); UIErrorsFrame:Show()
1:1 macro:
#showtooltip Steady Shot
/cast !Auto shot
/cast Steady Shot
/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Kill Command
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()
If you are comfortable with macros, feel free to insert trinket usage into these if you would like.
Rotations:
3:2 rotation:
This rotation currently provides maximum DPS (damage per second) , though it can burn
threw your mana quickly. To execute this rotation you should select a target, have your
pet attack it if feasible, apply a hunter's mark if possible, and then spam the above 3:2 macro
until it is dead. Aside from using a pot, trinket, a cooldown (i.e. Beastial Wrath or Rapid Fire),
feign death, misdirect, or refreshing a hunter's mark; no other buttons are needed.
1:1 rotation:
This rotation currently provides maximum DPM (damage per mana) , though it deals a little less
damage than a 3:2. To execute this rotation you should select a target, have your
pet attack it if feasible, apply a hunter's mark if possible, and then spam the above 1:1 macro
until it is dead. Aside from using a pot, trinket, a cooldown (i.e. Beastial Wrath or Rapid Fire),
feign death, misdirect, or refreshing a hunter's mark; no other buttons are needed.
Which rotation is better will depend on fight length, group/raid composition, your gear, and how
well stocked with mana pots you happen to be. If you are tapping out on a 3:2, or if a 1:1 is
efficent enough for you to use aspect of the hawk full time, it could well do more damage than
a 3:2. You will have to decide which to use on a fight to fight basis.
Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot, Multi-shot and Stings:
Aimed Shot: Should only be used to misdirect, or in a situation where the healing debuff is useful as
using it results in a loss of dps.
Arcane Shot: Useful for sniping damage when a mob may die before a steady shot gets off. Also
useful while moving or experiencing pushback. Can be manually weaved in during bestial wrath +
rapid fire if mana is not an issue. Otherwise will result in a loss of dps/dpm.
Multi-shot: If mana is not an issue, can be manually weaved in place of a steady shot when multiple
mobs will be hit. If there is only one target usage will generally result in loss of dps/dpm.
Stings: Should generally be reserved for situations where the debuff is necessary. Serpent sting
will generally result in a loss of dps/dpm.
Misdirect/Feign Death:
Should be abused as much as possible (particularly feign death).
Discuss.
